High School Scholarships
Gamma Mu Omega Chapter sponsors an annual High School Scholarship which provides a one-time. $1,000 scholarship to graduating seniors in the Daytoina Beach area. Applications are distributed through the Guidance Counseling offices of local schools in the early Spring term. Awards are announced during the Spring graduation season.

Accent on Youth
The mission of Accent on Youth (AOY) is to empower young women to become well-rounded and poised contributors to society by providing them with educational enhancement activities and opportunities for a high level of personal and social growth. The AOY members are outstanding young ladies in grades eght – twelve whom the Gamma Mu Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated assist in recognizing their potential to become strong and empowered women. Men of Tomorrow
The Men of Tomorrow Program is designed to provide young men in the eleventh and twelfth grades leadership and mentorship opportunities while preparing for a debut program. At the conclusion of the program participants will have developed presentation skills, worked on service projects, and cultivated new, lasting friendships. Participants also compete for a one-time scholarship.
